Ingredients:

  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 2 cups water

Instructions:

    • In a separate pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
    • Add the minced garlic and green chilies. Sauté until the garlic turns golden brown.
  3. Combine and Simmer:

    • Pour the tomato puree into the tempering mixture. Add turmeric powder, salt, and sugar (if using).
    • Stir well and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  4. Serve:

    • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot as a soup or over rice.
