  2. Prepare the Tempering:

    • Heat oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them pop. Add urad dal and sauté until golden brown. Add asafoetida and curry leaves, and sauté for another minute.
  3. Combine and Serve:

    • Pour the tempering over the blended coconut mixture and stir well. Adjust the consistency by adding more water if needed. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.
